Practitioners place their hands lightly on or above the recipient’s body, allowing energy to flow and restore balance by removing blockages. To become a Reiki practitioner, one must undergo a sacred ceremony known as an attunement. During this process, a Reiki Master opens and aligns the student’s energy channels, creating a permanent connection to the source of Reiki energy. This spiritual initiation empowers individuals to channel Reiki for themselves and others, marking the beginning of their journey as healers.
