This month we’re hiking Arnett Canyon, a 3.3-mile out-and-back trail near Superior, AZ, off US-60 between Picketpost Mountain and the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. Plan on about 2 hours for the hike.

Event Details

• When: Saturday, October 17, 2026. We meet at the trailhead at 8:00 AM.
• Where: Arnett Canyon trailhead, near Superior, AZ (trail details on AllTrails)
• Cost: Free
• Getting there: Part of the road to the trailhead is dirt, so an all-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended.
• Bring: Water, sun protection, and sturdy shoes
