Bringing Comfort & Joy: ZenLife’s Teen Gift Drive for Shade Tree Academy

The holiday season is a beautiful reminder of the power of connection. While many of us are preparing to celebrate with loved ones, it’s also a time to pause and extend our warmth to those who might need a little extra support. That’s why ZenLife Center for Healing is hosting a Shade Tree Academy teen gift drive—a heartfelt way to bring comfort and joy to teens who need it most.

Shade Tree Academy is a private day program that serves children and teens who have experienced life circumstances that make traditional school settings challenging. Their mission is deeply rooted in creating safety, structure, and support—and we want to join them in bringing some extra comfort and joy to their students this season.

Here’s how you can help:

In the ZenLife lobby, you’ll find a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments. On the back of each ornament is a gift request from a Shade Tree teen. Simply take an ornament, purchase the item, and return your unwrapped donation to the studio by Friday, December 6th.

Requested items include:

  • Fleece blankets
  • Art-related activities for ages 12–16
  • Games for ages 12–16
  • $15+ gift cards to restaurants
  • $15+ gift cards to shopping stores like Ross, TJMaxx, and similar spots

Every donation, no matter the size, will help remind a teen that they are seen, supported, and loved.
