DESCRIPTION:Location: Wind Cave Trail\, Usery Mountain Regional ParkDistance: 3.2 miles round-tripElevation Gain: Approx. 1\,000 feetDuration: Around 2 hoursMeet Time: 8:00 AM at the Wind Cave Trailhead \n\n\n\nThis month\, we’re heading to Usery Mountain for a steady climb up the Wind Cave Trail. \n\n\n\nIt’s a 3.2-mile round-trip hike with a gradual incline and a beautiful payoff—panoramic desert views and a shaded alcove at the top. We’ll take our time on the way up\, then pause at the cave for snacks and a short rest before making our way back down. \n\n\n\nExpect some rocky sections and a bit more elevation than our last hike\, but nothing technical. As always\, wear good shoes\, bring plenty of water\, and come prepared for sunshine. \n\n\n\nNote: This trail is within Maricopa County park land\, so there is a $10 entrance fee per vehicle. \n\n\n\nTrail info + directions:🥾 AllTrails – Wind Cave Trail \n\n\n\nWe’ll see you at the trailhead.
