SUMMARY:Hiking Club: Mine & Saguaro Loop Trail
DESCRIPTION:🚨 THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO HEAT. 🥵 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation: Mine & Saguaro Loop (Granite Reef area)Distance: Just under 3 milesDuration: Approximately 2 hoursMeet Time: 8:00 AM at the trailhead \n\n\n\nThis month we’re heading out to the Mine & Saguaro Loop\, a scenic 3-mile route along the south side of Granite Reef that climbs up Raccoon Bluff before looping back through the wash below. \n\n\n\nThe hike begins with a steady uphill stretch for about the first mile. From the top\, you’ll get wide views — Red Mountain on one side and the East Valley stretching out on the other. After that\, we’ll make our way downhill and follow the wash back toward the trailhead. \n\n\n\nExpect a moderate incline at the start and uneven desert terrain throughout. Nothing overly technical\, but good shoes with solid grip are recommended. \n\n\n\nWe’ll meet at the trailhead at 8:00 AM and move at a steady\, conversational pace. \n\n\n\nBring water\, sun protection\, and anything you need to stay comfortable. \n\n\n\nMore trail details can be found on AllTrails:👉 Saguaro Trail \n\n\n\nSee you on the trail.
